I had a good time at the House of Harley Spring Bike Show today. Weather was great except for some fairly strong wind. BBQ was awesome, the band was pretty damn good and there were even a few vendors selling their wares.
There were a lot of great looking bikes in the show along with some very nice looking rides on the street and scattered around the surrounding parking lots. I started thinking to myself that maybe this bike show had some sort of a theme since a large percentage of the bikes had skulls in some form or another. I`m partial to skull paraphernalia of just about any type so it made for a pretty cool time checking them all out and snapping some pictures.

One day I might just run into a local bike with some work from 3D Custom Fabricators so I can get a closer look at their work. I have talked to the owner Steve and he does some seriously friggen trick custom motorcycle fabrication for tanks, fenders, fairings or what ever the hell you can think of. I received an email from Harley-Davidson just like a couple of hundred thousand others have about the Super Ride 2009 event where you can test drive a new bike at participating dealers. This should be a sure way for Harley to boost some sagging bike sales or at the very least offer one hell a great way for bikers to test ride a variety of bikes. I need to make a few calls this week

Ride offered at participating U.S. dealers only between April 1 and June 30, 2009. Must be at least 18 and have a driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement. Rides can be refused for any reason by dealer. Proper riding gear required

This is a fairly interesting site from Allstate Insurance, its the All State Garage You can build a custom bike, get insurance quotes, find an agent or even plan a road trip. They have videos on maintenance for your bike and a few other things.
